mums-body-returns-to-uk-with-heart-missing-after-dying-from-mystery-llness-in-turkey

Beth Martin’s husband and family are like, demanding answers over their loved one’s mysterious death, innit? Beth fell ill while she was on a flight to Istanbul, Turkey, with her husband Luke. The 28-year-old mum-of-two from Portsmouth had been feeling sick, thinking it was just some dodgy food she ate, ya know?

The poor mum started feeling all ‘delirious’ not long after landing in Turkey’s biggest city, and had to be rushed to Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital when things got worse. Sadly, she passed away on Tuesday, like, shortly after being admitted to the hospital. Her family were kept in the dark about how serious her condition was, and they reckon the doctors didn’t even know she was allergic to penicillin. Luke even got accused of ‘poisoning’ her by the Turkish police, but he’s been let off the hook since then.

The Turkish Ministry of Health said Beth died from a ‘cardiac arrest due to multiple organ failure,’ but they didn’t explain what exactly caused it. And get this, a post mortem back in the UK showed that her heart was missing from her body. The Turkish officials claim she didn’t have any surgery while she was in the hospital, so they’re, like, not really sure how her heart ended up missing. Beth’s family now have to wait like six long months for a coroner’s inquest to figure out what really happened to her. Over £250,000 has been raised on a Go Fund Me page to help support her family during this tough time.
